ASPIRATION FOR VULNERABLE REHABILITATED FAMILIES (AVUREFA)

ASPIRATION FOR VULNERABLE REHABILITATED FAMILIES (AVUREFA) is a registered NGO in Tanzania that supports vulnerable families, children and young people. Currently AVUREFA has three projects: Gate Way Rehabilitation Centre, Kijana Kwanza, Elimu Bora and the Mobile Clinic. The Gate Way Rehabilitation Centre supports children and young people with disabilities, providing them with the opportunity to go to school, shelter, food and access to health services. Kijana Kwanza aims to empower youth and raise awarness of their involvement in the community activities. The Mobile Clinic is a project that helps people in remote areas who do not have access to health services. Elimu Bora aims to improve and standardize the system at schools. A few times a year, doctors, pharmacists and a laboratory technician go to the villages to help and educate the people.
